On June 26, 1953, Smolenice Castle was handed over to the Slovak Academy of Sciences as a purpose-built accommodation facility. Gradually, the interior was modernized so that it could be used for conferences, symposia, professional seminars and other educational or family events.
The environment is adapted for this purpose and provides representative spaces where several salons with different capacities are available.
A 10% discount applies to space rental for congresses of the Slovak Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.
All salons, the Congress Hall and the Castle Dining Room are equipped with technology such as a screen and projector, if necessary, you can rent a laptop and other equipment:
Computer technology (computer): €20/day
Copying (1 A4 page): €0.10
Data projector + screen: €60/day for SAS
€120/day for the public
Poster stand: €3/day
Flipchart (board + 10 papers): €10/day
