Castle Tours every full hour
Smolenice Castle is open to the public:
- in the months of September to June, on weekends and holidays from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. every full hour
- in the summer months of July and August, every day from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. every full hour
Maximum capacity of one tour is 50 people!
Entrance Fees
Child under 6: FREE
Tour in English: 6€ / per person – necessary to book an English tour in advance:

Entrance Fees for Groups
Pedagogical support: FREE
Pupil, student, pensioner: 4€
Kindergarten student: 1€
Minimum entrance fee for a smaller group: 30€
Program for Schools and Kindergartens
Along with the one-hour tour of the castle, we also offer an additional program for kindergarten, primary and secondary school students:
- Forest pedagogy – an interactive one-hour program led by a professional forest educator about ecology, the importance of the forest for humans and much more can be completed right at the castle. There are many beautiful tools available that will interest every student. Surcharge – 1€/pupil, pedagogue. free supervision.
- Včelovina – About 10 minutes away on foot, the Bee Farm offers an explanation about the life and importance of bees and their worthy work. Duration 60 – 90 min. Interpretation – €3.3/pupil. Interpretation + making a candle from beeswax – €5/pupil, pedagogue. free supervision.
Entry with animals is prohibited in the entire area.
