Christmas is around the corner, and that’s why we decided to dedicate the pre-Christmas Saturday at Smolenicki Castle to our youngest visitors.
Throughout the day (from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) a program will be prepared in the Lower Courtyard Gallery for all children who purchase a ticket for a tour of the castle (€3/child, €4 adult) or a theater performance (€8/person) ) of the Trnava Theater – How the Goose Got Away (performance at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.).
In the castle gallery, children will be able to make various Christmas characters, play squibs, or run to the finish line and get one of the letters in the puzzle.

Tickets for a tour of the castle or a theater performance can be purchased at the gatehouse in cash.

How the goose showed off:
This cheerful fairy tale with songs was inspired by a short fable by V. G. Suteev.

The protagonist of our story is a goose who decides that she no longer wants to be a goose. Geese are said to be too ordinary and uninteresting compared to other birds. For example, such a rooster has a beautiful crest, a crow has shiny black wings, a peacock has a huge colorful tail, a stork has long legs,… The goose decides that she too will be something special. And I don’t just want to. He wants to become the most beautiful, the most exceptional, the most original bird in the whole world. Will the goose manage to get the desired praise and admiration?

The tale of the goose who focused too much on her appearance teaches us to find beauty in every person and points out that it never pays to compare yourself to others.

The production was created in cooperation with puppetry students of the University of Performing Arts, who enriched the performance with beautiful puppets.

Suitable for children from 3 years old.
